Apprenticeships

DLP views social integration and responsibility stringently. DLP appreciate that as a medium to large firm based in Salford, they have a duty to provide services and employment to the local community. DLP have developed excellent relationships with local schools, giving pupils the opportunity to partake in work experience. DLP try to accommodate as many pupils as possible, regardless of their gender or interests.

DLP Offer Apprenticeships in a variety of areas

DLP run an apprenticeship scheme supported by the CITB and currently employ six apprentices. Two of the current apprentices came through the route of initially undergoing work experience with DLP. Apprentices are closely monitored through on-going contact with management, feed back from supervisors and college reports. DLP prides itself on the apprenticeships we offer, as we believe all of trainees receive outstanding training and tuition in whatever trade they wish to pursue. Furthermore, due to the wide range of services that DLP offer, our trainees engage in a variety of works, thus developing a wide spectrum of skills and enhancing their employability.
